About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Pacific Islands, the Export Manager – Pacific Islands will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and overseeing all export sales activities for Essity products across the Pacific region. This role will involve setting and executing long-term export sales strategies and targets, while actively generating new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers. The Export Manager will also be accountable for analyzing and monitoring market trends within the Pacific, and for the effective implementation of sales plans to drive the growth of Essity’s brands in the region.
What You Will Do
- Demand Forecast and Budget planning
- Sales and Distribution Strategy development and execution
- Establish and drive sales through a strong network of distributors and wholesalers in the various export markets
- Generating leads, build sound customer relationships, and secure deals.
- Identify new market opportunities to expand the business.
- Analyse sales information to identify market opportunities and respond accordingly.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified, commercially astute, results focused savvy sales professional with an insightful understanding of the Pacific market.
- 3-5 years senior management and Pacific export sales experience and working for a FMCG company.
- Results driven and a proven record of achieving export sales growth.
- Physically fit and willingness to travel and valid manual driver’s license.
